Dec 12th 2018: A convincing 6 race victory for Ray Roberts TP52 Team Hollywood at the Phuket King's Cup and despite low scoring with only 4 entries in the IRC 0 class, they return to the top of the 2018-19 AsianYachting Grand Prix (AYGP) Rankings, in grand style. Being deprived of the last race win and overall victory, Fred Kinmonth/Nick Burns GTS 43 Mandrake III had to settle on 2nd place and opened the door for Roberts to come through and retake the overall lead, in the AYGP Skipper Rankings by only 1.5 points, but Mandrake III still leads the AYGP Yacht Rankings by 9.5 points from Team Hollywood. Local SE Asian based skippers John Newnham defended the Firefly 850 Sports title on Twin Sharks, and 3rd place for Chris Mitchell's Naut 40 Lady Bubbly in the Cruising Class, improves their Rankings, to be tied on 30 points, in 3rd overall.
