Alan Wright Oceans 14 metre

This yacht is a solidly built, comfortable and well equipped cruising yacht, with a teak interior. Built in NZ by Salthouse Bros. and designed by Alan Wright, she is in excellent condition and this year had hull and decks repainted and an interior refit with new upholstery, carpets and toilets. The Platu 25 was originally designed by Bruce Farr for a simple and exhilarating sailing pleasure. They are fast and responsive in light airs plus provide thrilling sailing for crews at all levels of experience. Fleets are based at Ocean Marina, Pattaya and Royal Selangor Yacht Club in Malaysia where regular racing takes place. Others are spread around Phuket, Thailand and Singapore that participate in club racing and over the years have won Sportsboat classes at the King's Cup and Singapore Straits. THA 129 has a deck layout optimised to class rules and her standout features include Harken Carbo Block systems, 3:1/6:1 Mainsheet and Spectra multi fall backstay.
