at PD World Marina in Pt Dickson, Malaysia (See Location Map and Google aerial photo) We have kicked of with the Discover Keelboat Sailing program. The basic aim of the AsianYachting Center is to provide a place where interested people can come together to Learn to Sail and serious sailors can develop the necessary skills to go on and successfully compete at regional regattas and match racing events in Asian waters. Also an ideal spot for competitive sailors wanting to form racing teams or make a career out of sailing can come together and enjoy some warm hospitality and exchange ideas. Alan Wright Oceans 14 metre

This yacht is a solidly built, comfortable and well equipped cruising yacht, with a teak interior. Built in NZ by Salthouse Bros. and designed by Alan Wright, she is in excellent condition and this year had hull and decks repainted and an interior refit with new upholstery, carpets and toilets. Sails and rigging are all in good condition and she is fully equipped ready to go sailing. Equipped with all furling sails, and a hard dodger, she can be sailed without having to leave the safety of the cockpit. She is also well equipped with electronics, awnings and many cruising extras. Sold - Platu 25 - #129 - Sold

The Platu 25 was originally designed by Bruce Farr for a simple and exhilarating sailing pleasure. They are fast and responsive in light airs plus provide thrilling sailing for crews at all levels of experience. Fleets are based at Ocean Marina, Pattaya and Royal Selangor Yacht Club in Malaysia where regular racing takes place. Others are spread around Phuket, Thailand and Singapore that participate in club racing and over the years have won Sportsboat classes at the King's Cup and Singapore Straits. THA 129 has a deck layout optimised to class rules and her standout features include Harken Carbo Block systems, 3:1/6:1 Mainsheet and Spectra multi fall backstay. The boat was stripped, sprayed and had a total refit in Nov. 2005 when all new standing rigging and hi-tech cored running rigging was installed. She also has been kept in good condition with low mileage over the last few years while based in Pt Dickson, Malaysia. Firefly 850 - The fastest sailing boat in Asia

Fully imported Farrier F31R fold-up trimaran

This vessel was originally purchased by a Malaysian sailing family to compete on local club events and cruised with friends along the Malacca Straits. Only one owner since fully importing the complete boat and trailer from the US back in 2000. Relatively low mileage and been dry sailed all its life.
