Editors Note

Sorry for the long delay as the overall response to Newsletter 1 has severely tested the new system including contracting a email virus which has caused havoc, lost data and has required extensive computer reprogramming etc. Enough said, but please be extremely cautious when opening e-mails, especially duplicated ones or any attached files and documents in the future. Can anybody recommend a good e-mail virus detecting program?

As other sports are completing their seasons or taking a well earned Christmas break the media limelight turns to yacht racing in the Pacific, Indian and Southern oceans. As the annual South East Asian regatta season is with us again I hope to publicize and provide up to date results and news breaking stories either by e-mail or on the website AsianYachting.com during the Asean Regatta, Raja Muda Intl Regatta during November, the Thailand's King Cup in December and the Singapore Straits Regatta in Jan 2001. For more information I can be contacted at captmarty@AsianYachting.com and wish all participants the best of luck in their yachting pursuits.
